Thanks to Jenn for hosting another great edition of WIAW!
I’m thankful that I didn’t have to do much cooking or prepping today after spending the weekend prepping for Passover. For breakfast I threw a bunch of berries, leftover from dessert last night into the blender with some almond milk, kale, chia seeds and some vanilla bean PlantFusion protein powder! PlantFusion sent me a bunch of their powders to sample! There will be a giveaway from them soon! It was so tasty!!
Snack was on the go as we were running around this morning and I had to train a client at 11:30 so I munched on some of the great snack packs from Fruit Bliss! Seriously, their apricots are amazing!
Before I left in the morning I threw a bunch of stuff into the crock pot. No measuring at all, just chopped up some peppers and threw in beans, tomatoes, quinoa and spices and lunch was waiting for me after I was done with my 11:30 client!
It was so good! Even the Hubs enjoyed a bowl! I wish it wasn’t still soup season though! I’d be much happier eating a nice green salad outside on my patio! Oh well, it will happen, eventually! I had a juicy Cara Cara as well, but do you really need to another picture of those guys?! Then the UPS guy showed up and did he have a treat for me!
I got a little love from Brad’s Raw Foods! That means there is another giveaway coming your way soon! I know, I just can’t stop with these giveaways. Anyways, I dove right into their Pina Kale-ada and it was AMAZING!! Seriously who would have thought! Unreal, I need to get this stuff by the case!
After an afternoon of gymnastics and playing, dinner was nothing too exciting. Some leftovers from last night plus some extra roasted broccoli and squash!
I snuck in a cookie that was also leftover from last night. I must say that I did really well with the desserts this year! This was a cookie made with almond meal, coconut sugar, coconut oil and some chocolate chips with a few other basic ingredients as well! They were delish!!
I parked myself in front of the TV to watch Revolution, which is now back on Monday nights. However it’s on a 9:00 and I can never make it till 10:00 so we always watch it the next day! Speaking of TV, only 5 more weeks left of The Following! What am I going to do in 5 weeks when it’s over?! It’s by far the greatest show on TV! Serious addiction!! Who’s with me?
The Hubs and I are going to catch up on some movies that are in theaters this week while we are both on break. Any suggestions? I think Oz the Great and Powerful is on our list!
