On Friday when I got home from work I had this waiting for me!

OK now, onto the rest of my day!
Sara and I were out in the morning before the snow started to kick in and had a lunch date at one of my favorite local salad bar places!! I enjoyed a spinach salad with lots of veggies and some goat cheese! Goat cheese is my favorite!!!
Late afternoon, I dug into this awesome Cara Cara orange!! We bought 5lbs worth at Costco over the weekend, so I will be enjoying plenty of these in the week to come. Also note the snowy afternoon we had! This is the most snow we have had this year. I’d say we have about 5-6 inches of snow by us.
Our afternoon was a bit rough. I called over to Sara’s gymnastics place an hour before her class to check on the status of it. They told me that classes were happening as planned. It took us about 40 minutes to drive about 1.5 miles. You can imagine that all I was thinking that I could run back and forth and probably back again and get their faster! Nevertheless, we got there only to be told that classes were canceled. They said they made calls and I must have missed my mine. I still never received a call! I was mad and Sara was devastated. (That’s my nice way of saying she had a good old fashion toddler meltdown!) So we spent a good hour in the car but all was well when we came home and stomped around in the snow for a bit.
Dinner was awesome thanks to Kim over at Hungry Healthy Girl. Her crock pot Southwestern soup was amazing and just what I wanted on a cold snowy night.
For dessert I have been enjoying these Greek Yogurt Peanut Butter Granola Bites! Recipe for this awesome dessert is coming tomorrow.
Did you guys get a lot of snow? Our winter has been nothing compared to everyone out on the east coast!
