WIAW: Dining out with Seasons 52

Happy Wednesday!

I’m linking up with Jenn for a very special WIAW!

As I mentioned, the Hubs and I went out on Sunday to celebrate our 7 year anniversary!  We had an amazing experience at Seasons 52 in Chicago!  Some of you commented last week that you had heard of the restaurant and had been there!

I always like to check out the menu to a new place because I am all about yummy eats!!!  I loved that they used local and fresh ingredients when designing their menu and I also loved that they had a special summer seasonal menu.  I also love that they have alternative menus online geared towards any and ALL diets!  Vegans, gluten-free and meat eaters can enjoy and dine together!!!  Yippee!!!

Everything sounded amazing from the drinks to the flatbreads to the entrees and the desserts, and let me tell you that the entire experience was amazing!

Let’s start with the drinks!!

Round 1 for myself was the Meyer Lemonade made with Organic Meyer Lemon Vodka and Pineapple Juice.  The Hubs was boring and got his standard vodka martini on the rocks.

They surprised us with some champagne since we were celebrating our anniversary!  Cheers to us!

Then came one of their highly suggested seasonal drinks!  The Strawberry Basil Infusion made with Strawberry-infused Organic Vodka!  Best drink EVER!!

Round 1 of food we chose one of their flatbreads.  Seasons 52 is famous for their flatbreads!

We went wight he Artichoke and Laura Chenel Goat Cheese flatbread.  Made with spinach, balsamic onions and roasted peppers! I love super crispy flatbread and this was perfect.  We might have finished it in a matter of minutes!!

Let’s talk dinner entrees!

IMG_4311.JPGI ordered their Asian-Glazed Chilean Sea Bass and it was served with black rice, snap pea and shitake mushroom.  The fish was perfectly cooked and so light!!  It also came recommended by our waitress of their summer menu!  Since I am a huge fan of broccoli, I had to order a side of their grilled broccoli!

The Hubs ordered the Oak-Grilled New York Strip Steak.

It came served with herb marinated tomatoes, potatoes and roasted tomatoes.  He loved his and of course we both were members of the “clean plate club.”

Don’t worry we still had room for dessert!!

OMG, best dessert presentation ever!!  I didn’t get a full photo since I was blown away but basically you are presented with an entire line of small single serving options of yumminess and just pick what you want!

We had a key lime, chocolate peanut butter, praline and mocha dessert!!  There were several others too!

And don’t worry….

We CLEARLY had no problem finishing these either!

Seasons 52 has something for everyone which is truly amazing!! Our entire experience was wonderful and it made our big night out truly remarkable!!!

Is there a Seasons 52 near you? Have you ever been?  If you aren’t sure, check out all of their locations on their homepage.
