Happy WIAW! This is the last one of the month! Seriously how is going to be June next month? Sara turns 4 in less than 2 weeks! WHAT?!?! We went to order her birthday cake yesterday! Where has the time gone!?!?
Is it me or do short weeks just feel a bit harder and crazier? Don’t get me wrong I love a nice weekend but this week is just insane! I’ve got clients to train 3 nights this week and am starting a brand new exercise class on Thursday afternoon! More on that later!
I ran 4 miles yesterday. I’m tapering a bit this week for my 1/2 marathon on Sunday. I love taper week! Do you guys enjoy it? It was a humid and cloudy day but it never really rained during the day! Unfortunately it poured Monday into Tuesday which meant we couldn’t really play at the park!
I was starving after my run!
Coach’s Oats, topped with cacao nibs and almond butter with a side of berries and coffee! I added a spoonful of the coconut and coco chia flax blend! It’s so delish!
Snack time was at the YMCA while Sara took art class! Time for another Quest bar! Seriously, these bars are AMAZING!
Sara enjoyed lunch outside and I had a quinoa salad and topped with fresh cilantro from the garden! My herbs are doing so well!!!
We spent a couple of hours outside riding bikes, blowing bubbles and chalking up our driveway before we headed out for gymnastics. I cut up a pineapple before we left and Sara and I both snacked on some amazing and juicy pineapple before she went into class!
It was supposed to be a very rainy afternoon so I had planned to cook dinner in! I used one of the spice rubs that I bought in Key West with some coconut milk and chicken! Yum! I roasted some frozen Trader Joes brussels sprouts. They were good but not nearly the same as fresh ones!
Trained a client at the house immediately following and early dinner and then got Sara to bed!
Sat down and had dessert! I made these brownie batter fudgesicles on Monday and OMG are they INSANE! Had to restrain myself from having another one! Not sure I am going to share these!
Does anyone else feel like short weeks are much harder? I’m so thrown off but the good news is that week is 1/2 over!
