Happy Wednesday. I didn’t blog yesterday because I spent Monday evening preparing for a super productive Tuesday and I have to pat myself on the back for a job well done. Let me take you through my day! I’ve never done a post like this and lately most days are crazy but yesterday was particularly crazy. Happy WIAW!
5:15am- Alarm goes off. Hubs and I get out of bed! Workout clothes are within an arms reach. Change and get ready to workout!
5:30am- On the treadmill running for a 2 1/2 mile run.
5:50am- Pushups followed by 2 rounds of Tabata! One upper and one core. Cool down and a few rounds of planks to round out the sweatfest.
6:10am- Whip up this version of paleo banana bread. I prepped all the dry ingredients the night before so it literally took 10 minutes and into the oven it went! I added cacao nibs and a 1/4 cup of Salba ground chia.
6:20am – Create a peanut butter yogurt dip for the Hubs and Sara using Calbot greek yogurt. (Recipe coming this week!)
6:45am- I hear the pitter patter of Sara’s feet running downstairs! Followed by lots of hugs!
7:00am- Coffee and hop into the shower.
7:15am- Load of laundry thrown in the washer.
8:00am- A little morning prep and Exercise Connection meeting at the house! Banana bread is incredible and I top my piece with almond butter! Finally time for breakfast! Sara is a huge fan!
8:45am- Drop Sara at the YMCA for her classes.
9:00am Exercise Connection team meeting with YMCA directors to discuss classes and future plans.
11:00am- Wrap up meeting and pick up Sara from class. Home to continue Exercise Connection planning with the team and make lunch for all of us! Also throw dinner into the crockpot! Lunch is a lentil and butternut squash soup with Organic Girl baby kale thrown in at the end! We were all starving. Mary’s Crackers always make a bowl of soup perfection. I also had some of the peanut butter yogurt dip. Probably too many spoonfuls since my tummy was hurting after.
12:45pm- Back to the YMCA for Sara’s swim class. I leave my team at the house to work while Sara and I continue on with our day.
1:00pm- Watch swimming and zone out. It’s been quite a hectic day!
2:00pm- Home Goods and Whole Foods Run. Both stores just make he happy! Snack in the process for both Sara and I.
3:30pm- Home to finish laundry and so grateful that I don’t have to worry about dinner!
4:30pm- Sit and catch up on blog and emails while Sara enjoys some downtime!
5:30pm- Dinner! Yeah for another crock pot favorite from Kim over at Hungry Healthy Girl.
6:30pm- Bath/Story and Bedtime routine and lots of cuddles. This day needs to be over as I nearly fall asleep in Sara’s bed!
7:30pm- Catch up the DVR and enjoy a relaxing cup of tea. Mentally prepare for tomorrows 12 plus hour day of running around!
