Weekend Highlights and Baby Watch 2015

It’s Sunday night as I write this and it’s nearly 7pm– I’ll be in bed very soon!!  We had another great weekend!  Lots of family time, date time and plenty of down time!

I’m linking up with Katie for another week of MIMM!

Friday night, the Hubs and I went out to one of our favorite restaurants where we celebrated a happy and healthy 37 weeks of pregnancy.  Food was spectacular as always… and we finished it with our favorite dessert!

If you have been following along with our story,  you will know that Sara came exactly at 37 weeks because she wasn’t growing properly in my belly. Well, this time around our baby is growing just beautifully and there is no need for induction.  With that being said we are officially on baby watch with 18 days OR less to go!  I won’t even say or more… not interested in that option!  I had a ton of contractions on and off all weekend so I am hoping that means things are brewing!

My goal, (Type A personality) is get to end of the week. After Friday would be great and after Sunday would be even better.  (Sara and I have haircuts on Sunday… priorities… right?!!)  Of course I realize that I have NO say in this matter, I just have big week at work and would like to finish up a bunch of projects and loose ends!

Saturday morning was spent in the kitchen before we all hit the gym!  Double batches of soup for the week and the freezer!

I hit the gym 3 days in a row!  My morning workouts leave me feeling very energized! Everything just feels better at a workout so I am hoping to continue on in the final days here!

Of course, afternoons are often spent like this…

Couch… TV and feet up!  I watched a ton of Friends re-runs this weekend!  The Hubs and I also went to see American Sniper on Sunday!  SOOO good– very intense!  Have you seen it? The only movie left on my list is Selma.  We’ve been getting in lots of movies thanks to my parents!!!  I’ll also be looking for good movies to rent or series to watch on Netflix once this baby arrives… I’m taking suggestions!

Tell me how your weekend was!!  Have you seen any of the big movies making the headlines??

I couldn’t be more excited for you. How great baby is staying put so long! I experienced this same thing. Thing 1 was 2 weeks early while Thing 2 came 4 days before her due date and was significantly bigger because she grew properly. You’ve been a busy bee but I’m glad you’re enjoying as well. Since the Caveman is away this month, I’m waiting for him to see American Sniper. I did take the kids to see Annie.

Nice job on the workouts! I’m impressed by the meal planning. With my due date on Friday I had every intention of doing that Sunday, but laying on the couch feet up sounded much better.
