The Never Ending Winter Break: Day 18 Plus Kale Factory Giveaway!

Yup, it’s STILL cold over here and schools are still closed.  My friend corrected me yesterday when I mentioned that the city was “shut down.”  So, I stand corrected and will tell you that schools, park districts, garbage pick up, gyms, etc are all still closed!  We should start rebounding to temps above zero by the afternoon.

My car yesterday afternoon! Brrr

My car yesterday afternoon! Brrr

I attempted to beat the Hubs 5 mile run time yesterday of 39:17,  but couldn’t get there. I did run my 5 miles in 39:35, so I got close!

I’ve got a great company and giveaway to share with you today!!  I’m so excited about it!

Kale Factory

I received an incredible and generous  last week from The Kale Factory and one of YOU LUCKY READERS IS GOING TO GET THE SAME THING!

The New York Naturals kale chips and snacks are handmade by  in Brooklyn, NY with the highest quality ingredients.

New York Naturals snacks are raw, vegan, kosher, dairy-free, gluten-free and Paleo friendly. They are dehydrated slowly at temperatures below 115 degrees so they are packed with enzymes and nutrients. The kale chips and snacks are high in vitamin K and A, iron and fiber.

The package came as I was having a little at home meeting so we dove right into the GREENOLA.   This stuff is simply amazing! There are four flavors.  Greenola™ is like granola, but with kale in place of the grains – granola made with greens, not grains. Sound strange? It’s delicious! You can eat it straight or pour milk on it, just like granola… except a whole lot more nutritious.

There are 4 great Flavors of GREENOLA!

– Cherry Chia (Kale, Dates, Coconut Flakes, Dried Tart Cherries (Montmorency Cherries, Cane Sugar, Sunflower Oil), Almonds, Walnuts, Chia Seeds)
– Spirulina Crunch (Kale, Pineapple, Sunflower Seeds, Coconut Sugar, Organic Spirulina, Vanilla)

Next up was the Kale Chips.  Not to fear, my brother-in-law and I got right into these later in the day.

Kale Chips 3oz Variety

I loved these so much I put in a request at my Whole Foods to start carrying them.  Want to try them?  The Kale Factory is offering 20% with orders over $50 when you use the code fitrunningmama.  There is NO expiration on this code, so order up and get some for your kale loving friends!

So one of you lucky readers will win the same awesome package I received!

What are you waiting for!  If you love kale like I do then this one if for you! Since kale ships are very fragile and hard to ship this contest is only open to US residents.
