Ever since I bought my wonderful Vitamix I’ve stopped buying hummus and almond milk! Those are the two of the weekly staples and often I find myself making both the hummus and the almond milk more then once a week! I love creating new hummus recipes and it’s seriously so easy! Don’t have a Vitamix? Just use your food processor!
- 1 15oz can of garbanzo beans drained and rinsed
- 3 Tablespoons of sesame seeds
- 1-2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
- 1 Tablespoon of Smoked Paprika
- Juice of 1 Lemon
- Optional: 1 teaspoon of sea salt
- Combine all ingredients into your food processor and process until creamy!
- Serve with veggies, crackers, pita or on top of a salad!
Make sure that you are using smoked paprika!
On a less appealing note but one many can relate to, I want to talk about my toes! Or really I should say I want to talk about toes of a runner! I’ve drastically cut back my mileage and have lost 2 toe nails since! Huh? That brings the grand total to 3 toe nails. I’m getting a mani/pedi today and wonder if I should ask for a discounted rate! Hah
I lose 1-2 toenails each year and it’s never painful and it always grows back. Thankfully, with the help of polish I can typically cover up the missing nails.
This is the before shot! After my pedicure today I am hoping they look a lot better! Anyone else have toe nail issues? It’s pretty much known that if you run you can expect to not have the nicest feet.
Ok enough about my feet! Busy day today! Going for a run, PT, training a client at the house this morning, mani/pedi and Sara and I are getting haircuts! Gosh, I love haircut day! I wait till I can’t stand my hair any longer and then make appointments for us!
