As an Ambassador for Salba, I’m fortunate enough to bring you great giveaways every month from them.  This month is no different!

This month the theme is: Get festive with chia seeds!

It’s the hap-hap-happiest time of the year, with lots of tasty treats and holiday parties. But sweets don’t have to bust the belt this time of year. As you start planning holiday get-togethers, make sure you keep your health on track with the simple addition of, you guessed it…Salba Chia seeds!

    Love Chia seeds and have them daily in chia pudding. I’ve not yet tried them in cookies or other baked goods. But hope to soon!

    this is an awesome give away I love chia seeds and putting them in or a health boost! Just made no-bake cookies with chia loved them! You have to add 1/4 cup extra liquid per 1/2 cup seeds you add or they will be dry, happy baking

  16. I’ve gone through a whole bag of chia seeds, but I’ve never made cookies with them. Yesterday I had them in a smoothie.

    made peanut butter cookies, 2 batches w/ half cup chia each, 1st was a bit dry since chia seeds absorb water ( left out instead of in a tin they soften up ) second batch I added 1/2 c. extra peanut butter and about tbs and a half of water these were perfect. Used ground chia also.

    I bake often with chia seeds, brownies, muffins, loaves, pretty much everything gets a spoonful or two. The ground is nice for almost any recipe and the seeds I add those to a nice cool glass of lemon water. 🙂
