Ok, so I might a little late in the blogging world to comment on my obsession with pumpkin, but I need to share. One might even consider me a pumpkin hoarder. I’m not ashamed. After my morning workouts, I like to start things off with pumpkin. My newest trick, I put pure pumpkin in my coffee. Let me tell you, it’s saved me a ton of $$$.
I am no longer finding the need to head into Starbucks for a pumpkin spice latte. It’s so easy. I just take my mug and pour in about 1/3 of the way my almond milk (any milk is fine.) I heat it up in my microwave for about 30 seconds and then stir in a spoonful of pure pumpkin. It really dissolves and it doesn’t change the consistency of the coffee. After that, I use my favorite milk frother, (totally optional) and finally add the coffee. To finish it off, a dash of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice! I’m telling you I don’t even miss Starbucks.
