Natural Delights #Giveaway

If you read my post from Tuesday and saw my recipe and you are a regular reader than you know I’ve got a little “thing” for dates.  Natural Delights sent me an awesome little care package last week.

20140623-135947-50387794.jpgI had never tired coconut date clusters so you can imagine how excited I was to try a couple of them. The ingredients are simple, dates and unsweetened coconut!  They also have Almond Date Clusters.

What makes Natural Delights a heart-healthy option? According to the American Heart Association, Medjool dates are heart-healthy because 1) they are high in potassium (50% more potassium by weight than bananas!), 2) they have lots of dietary fiber, 3) they provide 16 vitamins and minerals, and 4) have no fat or cholesterol. Pretty amazing, huh? That powerful combination makes Medjool dates a heart-healthy (and delicious) food you can enjoy every day.
