Marathon Weekend is Here so I am Kicking it off with a Peanut Butter & Co. Giveaway!!!

It’s here folks… race weekend is here.  The weekend I have been training for since June!!  Sunday morning I will run 26.2 all over the city of Chicago and I am so excited!!!

To celebrate the weekend I am giving away something that consistently fueled me through my training.

As you all know I am truly a nut butter addict and lover!  I can give up most things but nut butter… no way!  Well, Peanut Butter and Co. has some new products out and I think I just found my favorite one!!

I love all nut butters but almond and cashew are my favorites so what could be better then the new  Bestie Almond and Cashew butter.  Nothing added..Just almonds, cashew and sea salt! Seriously friends this is AMAZING!!

While I could and DID eat this stuff with a spoon straight out of a jar I also loved with my overnight oatmeal that I make a massive big batch of every week!

 

And since it’s October and all things PUMPKIN are back I made….

 Pumpkin Chia Pudding!! 

1/2 cup almond milk or non dairy milk

1/2 cup pumpkin

2 T of chia seeds

Teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon.  

Shake shake shake in your jar and store overnight and in the morning top with BESTIE and even some granola for a perfect post workout breakfast that keeps you feeling full and fueled ALL DAY long.

OK so the picture isn’t that pretty but I’ve always maintained that I am not a food photographer.. so just trust me when I tell you that it’s BEYOND delicious!

    I love it nut butter! I use it on and in pretty much everything. It goes in my smoothies, oatmeal, on a piece of toast, on my afternoon apple. As it starts getting colder here, I would love this nut butter in a nice warm bowl of oatmeal.

    yum! this sounds so good. i love almond and cashew butter separately, i’m sure together they’re fantastic! i’d put this on morning oats for sure, and also as a snack with bananas!

    if i make chia pudding i usually mix the nut butter in with it! i usually smear some peanut butter on a piece of toast to accompany my smoothie every morning. i also love making almond butter freezer fudge (and combine a couple nut butters to do so). i am SO glad to see that there is no added sugar in this nut butter (added sugar is a growing pet peeve of mine…although i do love a good flavored nut butter once in awhile for a treat :p). I’m also curious to try it because out of all the nut butters i’ve tried/bought, i’ve actually never had one with any cashews in it!

    Never tried it on chia pudding. My favorite is mix a T. With currents mini chic chips and Cheerios. Sometimes I add a sliced peach or pear.

    I haven’t yet tried putting nut butter on chia pudding, but it is a good idea I’d like to try. I like to make no-bake energy bars with nut butter, honey, dried fruits and hemp hearts, ground oats, change up the ingredients, sometimes add chocolate to the bars, especially when I’m using peanut butter. I’d love to try this!!

    I never thought to top my chia pudding with nut butter, but it’s an awesome idea! I usually save it for sweet potatoes, english muffins, or oatmeal. Thanks for the idea, and the giveaway!

    I’ve used powdered peanut butter in chia pudding but haven’t dolloped peanut butter on it. Not sure why I didn’t think of that before.

  57. When watching movies the whole night I prefer to eat junkfoods and coffee but your idea is good.
