The kitchen is one of my favorite places. Typically, on any given Sunday you can find me there cutting, prepping, and getting ready for the week ahead. However, that hasn’t been the case this summer. To be honest, I’ve really enjoyed the break! There has been so much going on that food prep and dinners have taken a back seat. In the summer it’s been more about being outside, hanging with friends, evening festivals and of course food trucks!
It’s all coming to an end though…I start back at work next Monday, and Sara and the Hubs start soon after that. My break was needed and fun!!

This book is truly so much more then just a cookbook! It teaches readers all about fueling and nourishing your bodies. It’s about adopting healthy eating habits and has everyones diet in mind!
The photographs are as stunning as the recipes.
The recipes are easy to follow with simple steps and won’t leave you in the kitchen for hours on end. The book is filled with everything including breakfast, smoothie, lunch, snack, juice and dinner recipes. You also get nutrition information, inspiration and even a meal plan to help you get started making changes. This book is not about a diet it’s about a lifestyle! It’s embodies so much of what I believe in!
Since Lorna Jane originates out in Australia, some of the ingredients are not typical for North America but you can easily make substitutions.
As we get ready to get back into the swing of things and Pinterest starts to become my BFF again I am excited that I have a new cookbook to make some amazing recipes out of!
