Friday Finds and Thoughts!

Happy Friday!  Well that was a fast week!!  Got a few great products to tell you about today and some other stuff too!

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Pre- The 30 Clean, Mary’s Gone Crackers was a huge staple in our house and it still is!  I’m just not eating them right now but everyone else is!  Mary’s has a new cracker out called the super seed!  It’s SOY free in addition to gluten free, Vegan, Non- GMO and Organic!!  All seed based and DELISH!BmqT_hkCEAAEXiY.jpg-large

As a Dailey Method lover one of the keys to success in class is grippy socks!  Grippy socks are cute, fun and help you hold the poses and stretches.  They work perfectly on the carpet in the class!  Pointe Studio sent me out a few pairs of their super cute and fun socks to try out and I have worn a new pair each day this week to class!

3) I blogged about Adovia Dead Sea Mask a few weeks ago and today I am telling all about their amazing shampoo and conditioner20140528-203624-74184984.jpg

For starters, I have really fine hair and Sara has really thick hair.  The best part is that this shampoo makes a difference for both of us!  For me it prevents my hair from falling flat by 3pm and for Sara it leaves it silky and smooth!  The condition is great too!  Especially for her hair!  Both of these products are available on Amazon!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

4) So it’s going to be HOT  this weekend– well on Sunday for the North Shore 1/2 Marathon!  I’ve not totally adjusted to the heat and humidity of the summer because we’ve had back and forth weather here.  I posted my concerns regarding fluid intake on The 30 Clean Facebook board.  I plan to fuel my runs like I have been with natural dates.  I’ll pack a few extras, and also use Energy Bits but since I CAN’T have the course sports drink I was a bit concerned about my electrolyte intake.  The answer… lots of coconut water and starting today I am also adding some salt to my water.  The other answer is making my own Electrolyte Energy Drink!  YEAH I am plan to make the strawberry one sans honey!!  These drinks all sound SOO good!  Have you ever made your own electrolyte drink?

5) I’ve admitted that I am NOT a food blogger because I don’t spend the time to photograph my foods.  Many don’t look pretty but they taste awesome (in my opinion)  Anyways, this is a great post on taking better food pictures form your iPhone!  Great tip that I am going to start using!

6) Here are some scenes from Instagram this week!

From the top left:

1) Grilled artichokes and cherry tomatoes!  AMAZING!  Do it!  It’s SO GOOD

2) Look what I found on my run Thursday morning!  It literally paid to run!

3) I’m testing out Kirkland Tequila.  I bought it this week at Costco.  You can’t beat the price.  For all those who remember my summer drink of choice, it’s tequila and fresh lime juice.  Sometimes I add in some sea salt.  It’s a no sugar/margarita.  30 Clean Friendly!

4) I got my first order from Artizone this week.  There was a Groupon so I used it to stock up on some grass fed burgers and meat! If you haven’t checked out Artizone I highly suggest you do!

7)  Tonight is the BIG graduation night for Sara!  I’m sure it will be an emotional and wonderful night!  I’m sure I will have LOADS of pics on Monday!

Tell me what you have going on this weekend!!  Happy Friday everyone!

  9. I had a 7-year old boy’s birthday party this weekend. We ordered a video game truck and it held all 20 kids!!! Who knew? The children had fun and so did I, except for a few who always cut up. Soo that was my weekend and no workouts or runs in site. You found money on a run? Now I need to know about THAT route. 🙂
