I’ve been seeing these Currently themed posts all over the blogger world and after seeing Marcia’s last week I decided that I wanted to start doing one once a month… so here we go!

Reading: I’ve been trying to make a habit of reading in bed before bed.  Lately it’s been my IDEA monthly magazines, SELF and yes sometimes I read the Oh She Glows Cookbook before bed.  I realize this is a bit odd but does anyone else read cookbooks before bed?  I’d love some quick easy reads for my plane ride to Cali on Saturday!  Suggestions anyone?

Running: Well, like a hamster I have been doing most of my running on the mill due to this winter but I am so loving when I get outside for my outdoor runs.  Now the water fountains need to come on!!

Non-Running Workout: I’m all about my classes at The Dailey Method!!  I’ve been at it for 3 months and have seen some amazing changes in my body!

Drink: Coffee with homemade almond milk, green smoothie and tea at night!  I’m also loving Cocogo for hydration purposes.  If you haven’t tried Cocogo I highly suggest it!!

Excitement: I’m so excited to go visit my sister and brother in law this weekend and FINALLY meet my new niece!

Garden Item: I’ve got my herbs and kale planted!!  YEAH!  The rest of the garden will follow in the coming weekend!!  Can’t wait for lots of goodies right from the garden!  Have you planted your garden yet?

TV: I’m all about The Following. Season 2 has been amazing!  Just 1 week after this  past Monday and directly after The Following is over, 24 returns!  I can’t wait!

Not-So-Healthy-Indulgence: I have a problem with nut butter these days.  It’s technically not that unhealthy but when the spoon goes into the jars there is just no stopping me!

Healthy Indulgence: Veggies… greens and more veggies.  I grilled tons of veggies last week for Passover… while the snow fell but boy were they amazing. They were awesome all week as leftovers for lunch!  Can grilling season get here already?

Pet Peeve: I don’t like when people are late.  It’s always been my Pet peeve.  When I was pregnant people told me once I had a kid I would understand it and never be on time but that’s not the case.  The hubs and I are very punctual people.  Lateness has always been my pet peeve!

Mood: Happy!  Not sure if it’s the 100 Happy Days Challenge that is really making me appreciate all the great things in life or the changing of the seasons but things are great!

Tell me what’s going on currently with you!

I’ve been a bit of a slacker with the kids home for vacation 🙂 I couldn’t agree more about people being late! We’ve been grilling when we can and I’m very ready for more outdoor living!

  2. I have been dying to try the Nutzo butters! I am very much like you and the spoon goes in the jar, especially for the sunbutter:D I am also very punctual, I never understood how people can continuously show up late for things:)

  3. I’m with you on the timeliness. I’m early for EVERYTHING even after I had kids, nothing worse than being late in my book either!

  4. The good thing about being in the Army is that it ingrained in my brain that I have to be everywhere at least 15 mins. Prior. Sometimes it annoys people but hey what can you do? Love the planting photo. Your daughter looks super happy! Cute!

  5. I definitely read cookbooks for fun, even before bed sometimes! 🙂 I hear you on the nut butter… it can be dangerous. Have a great Wednesday!

  6. Yum! I love grilled veggies … and nut butter! Glad you get to enjoy a trip out to California! Have a blast! And YES – I’ve planted my garden … a few months ago, in fact, since I’m in Texas. The lettuce is out of control – so fun to have veggies available that I grew myself! It never gets old!

  7. I grew up on a farm 15 miles out of town, so we left 30 minutes before being anywhere. That engrained the notion that if you’re 15 minutes early, you’re on time. If you’re on time, you’re late. My husband’s family is always late, and this has started to rub off on me. I hate that! Especially because I consider it so disrespectful when it’s habitual. Anywho, have fun visiting your new niece! My nephew was born last Thursday, and holding someone so little is the sweetest thing 🙂

Not sure if you saw this floating around last year: my absolute favourite article about how it’s not ok to be late

Currently…I’m happy the sun is shining but a bit peeved the awesome easter weekend temps are gone and it’s below freezing (wth april?!); I’m excited to see a great friend on Sunday; I’m drinking too much but just enough coffee; I would love to hop on a plane to Cali with you. A quick, easy read I loved was “Theory of Opposites” by Allison Winn Scotch, only $2.99 on Kindle.

I’m with you on the lateness thing – especially when the same people are late over and over and act like it is no big deal. And, with our business I always try to be early which often means I wait over half an hour because it is amazing how many people show up super late – RUDE!!

I like these random glimpses in to your world. I used to do a weekly post like this when I first started blogging and thought about bringing it back on a regular basis. I used to be on time or early for everything. Over the years, my procrastinator husband and warn off and we are now always late. It’s drives me nuts. If I am going some where on my own, I will probably be right on time. I love peanut butter but can not eat it anymore so I use Sunflower seed butter now. Taste very close to peanut butter! YUM!

  12. Before kids, I was always early. Now I’m always running late and it kills me. This is even with setting the clocks fast. 🙂
