Happy Saturday Friends
It’s JUNE! It’s a brand new month and the weather is getting better and better each day!!
Grab a cup of coffee with me… maybe you have transitioned to iced coffee!
If we were having coffee I would tell you that this little lady turns 6 and finishes kindergarten next Thursday.
If we were having coffee I would tell you that as cute as this little man is I would love to get his naps a little more consolidated. While we have had some better days he is still this 45 minute napper. Right now napping 4 times a day. I keep waiting for it to change! I know nothing lasts forever. However, nights are really pretty good so I can’t complain. Plus, he is seriously a happy guy!!
If we were having coffee I would tell you that my friend and I just booked a trip to Arizona for early November! We are planning to go to Scottsdale and make a long day trip to the Grand Canyon. Any Arizona readers out there? Advice? Restaurants?
If we were having coffee I would tell you that I had plans to try to get a post baby race in but it still hasn’t happened. I guess I’ve been perfectly happy with my long runs on the weekends and not being tied to a certain race. I’m not much of a summer racer since I’m not a fan of hot weather running but maybe I will start to look for a fall 1/2 marathon! I’m on track to run over 20 miles this week and last month ran just about 80 miles!! It feels amazing to be back.
If we were having coffee I would tell you that I am counting down the days till the local farmers markets open!! There are two I typically go to! I can’t wait!!! Have you started shopping local at your markets?
If we were having coffee I would tell you that I’m almost done with week one of The 30 Clean and it’s been great!! I’ve been dealing with the typical “flutox” symptoms this week. Headaches… headaches and more headaches, but man do I have a whole lot of energy!! I have had to spend a lot more time in the kitchen so that’s been hard but we’ve had some amazing dinners this week!! The Hubs loved this easy Tandoori Chicken and I have to admit it was the first time I boiled chicken! SOOO speedy! I also made this sauce and ate it on top of zoodles yesterday!! AMAZING.
Plus, have you guys seen this??
It just hit the stores at Trader Joes and after a couple of visits to my local TJ’s where I was told it was sold out I finally struck gold yesterday!!
SOOOO much easier then ricing cauliflower and you can’t beat the $1.99 price tag! You can find it in the freezer section at Trader Joes IF you are lucky!! Last night we ate it with some clean salsa and cilantro and lime shredded chicken! Yummy!!!
That’s all I got for this month! I’m off to get a run in before Sara’s soccer game and then her party this afternoon!!! It’s a very busy weekend!!!
What do you have going on?
