Closing the books on summer… kind of!

It went by in a blink of an eye and now it’s back to work and daily routines and structures.  It’s bittersweet, because I think we are all ready for to back into the swing of things.  Last week the Hubs went away on his traditional end of summer golf trip and Sara and I had loads of “girl time.”  We spent the days at the park, pool, movies and had lots of lunch and dinner dates.  Loads of fun before she starts kindergarten NEXT WEEK!  It was MARVELOUS!

Our weekend was filled with family time.  Not tons of plans but lots of together time.  The hubs and I even got a workout in together… and by together I mean we both were at the YMCA at the same time doing our own thing.  Hah icon smile Closing the books on summer... kind of!

I even found myself back on Pinterest yesterday pulling up some snack and dinner ideas.  I whipped up a batch of one of my favorite snacks while I was on The 30 Clean!  These amazing sunflower and hemp seed balls from my girl Kim over at Hungry Healthy Girl!

Yesterday,  we had the chance to attend the grand opening of the newest Giordano’s Pizza with one of the best former Chicago Bulls players around!  Not Michael Jordan, but his partner in crime from back in the day, Scottie Pippen!  I think Sara was a bit overwhelmed by his height because she wouldn’t talk to him.

It was awesome event that I had a chance to be a part of thanks to Chicago Food Bloggers! Who doesn’t love Chicago deep pizza!?!  YUM!!

I’m excited and ready to start what I know is going to be an amazing school year for all of us!

We still have a final week of concerts and summer events before we really are into the school year routine so despite having to work this week we are going to enjoy our summer evenings while we can!

If you had time off this summer, have you gone back to work?

My family feels like we’re closing the books on summer too. Our trip to LA last week was the marking point of summer’s end. And the fact that I’m now back at work and the kiddos go back to school this week.

Your photos always look so happy! They’re always a pleasure.

  8. Bandwidth quantities are generally determined in gigabytes (GB), since while only one duplicate of your files has to be kept on the web server, many thousands or even millions of copies could be downloaded and install for viewing. If your website is checked out more times compared to the amount of bandwidth you are enabled could handle, your site might be turned off till the next billing period begins, or you could simply be billed for the excess amount made use of, relying on your host’s plans. You can always purchase even more bandwidth as your site’s visitor traffic rises.
