Brady Bands Review and Giveaway!

Amy over at Brady Bands contacted me a few weeks ago about hosting a giveaway for her Brady Bands.

Amy makes headbands and donates a portion of her proceeds to CureSearch after her son Brayden lost his battle to brain cancer in June of 2012.  Brayden was just five years old. . In the short few months since Amy started Brady Bands she has been able to donate almost $3000 to childhood cancer research.  Amy sent me two headbands, one for me and one for Sara!

First, let me start out by saying that headbands have never really worked for me when I run.  I have a small head and they are always slipping.  I’ve tried many over the years and usually they cause me nothing but frustration and I am end up taking them off mid-run.

Brady Bands were a whole different story though!  They totally stayed in place and kept my hair out of my face. I’m the midst of growing out my bangs for the summer and this headband did the trick.  I’ve worn it for Bikram, Tabata Bootcamp and long runs and they always work!

Sara loves her headband too!  Sara lives in headbands but usually they are off her head within and hour and we find them all over our house.  Not this one!  Sara loves her Hello Kitty Brady Band and I love that it keeps all the hair out of her face.  You can check out all of the Brady Bands ands buy yours here!

Brady Bands are wonderful and very affordable.  While most sport bands out there cost $10-$15 dollars, Brady Bands are just about $6 a piece!  Very reasonable!  More importantly a portion of ever sale goes back to a very worthy and amazing cause!

Amy is offering one reader the chance to win one adult size band and one kid sized band!  Along with this great coupon!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Have a great day!  Our summer like temps have left us but it was amazing while it lasted. We will get them back soon!!  It was a great teaser!

  9. I just let my hair do what it wants. I put it in a ponytail, but the little fly-aways just do their thing. haha Very attractive, I know.

I usually use a crap ton of bobby pins to keep my hair in place or a hat when outside. Tried an Athleta band one time that totally doesn’t stay in place. Would love to find one that does!

  20. Jessica Forrestt says:

I put it in a ponytail!! I could definitely use this band!!

  21. These are so cute! When my hair was long, a ponytail did the trick. When I cut it, I started using bobby pins. But bands are so much cuter!

  22. I finally had time to catch up on some blogs this week. Your daughter is adorable! I alternate between headbands and clips to keep my hair back. When it was super short, I just wore it in a pebbles ponytail on the top of my head….which was pretty ridiculous! I love everything that donates to kids cancer research (hence the St Jude marathon charity)! Have a great weekend!

  30. Heidi DeGroot says:

I would love the opportunity to try these headbands. I have heard so much about them and that they work much better than most. I’m curious—since they stay on so well, do they give you a headache from being too tight?? That is usually the problem I have, so I am willing to try anything.

  31. I love the idea of these! My hair bands are always falling out during my runs! Your daughter is adorable!!

  39. Lisa A. says:

Usually I just use an elastic but the front shorter pieces of hair usually fall out so a Brady band would be just the thing to keep my hair out of my face during a run.

I usually use about a million hair clips, but they don’t always hold it. Every headband I try falls off, but I’d love to find one that works.
