It’s been awhile. Like the title of this post states… blogging in the summer is really hard.
You’d think that since the Hubs and I are both off of work and the kids are in camp/daycare that there would be hours to do it but our days have been filled with activities and well the weekends are even crazier. I’m not complaining for one second though. It’s simply MARVELOUS.
We are having an incredibly warm and HOT summer so far. Last year June was COLD and so was July! I remember because B was in his cranial helmet and we spent a lot of time out at parks because it wasn’t hot.
This summer we are living at the pool, playing in sprinklers and enjoy hot summer nights and lots of cold drinks.
And cold treats!
I made one of Sara’s favorites this week. Chocolate Covered Katie’s Deep Dish Skillet Cookie and had to top is with some SO Delicious Cashew Milk Ice Cream! One of the best healthy desserts out there!
And other yum….
We’ve been loving the amazing Fruit and Macadamia Crunches from Royal Hawaiian too! They are great snacks to bring to the pool and awesome when Sara comes home from camp starving.
Summer swimming and life means and non stop running around means that I need to have snacks on hand when Sara comes home. Her appetite has been through the roof these last couple of weeks.
The Fruit & Macadamia Crunches come in three amazing and incredibly tasty and addicting flavors!
Royal Hawaiian’s brand philosophy reflects the heart of Hawaiian culture – that health and happiness come from the unification of mind and heart. We strive to find balance in the hustle and bustle. We show love for our community and respect the gift of nature. To us, the most delicious and worthwhile meal is one shared with friends and family.
We are loving the crunches and later this summer I’m going to have a great giveaway for all of you so STAY TUNED FRIENDS!!
In other news Week 3 of marathon training is in the books! It was a cutback week so it was pretty easy! Soon enough the miles are going to start to add up.
The Hubs and I leave for Nashville this week and we can’t wait to for a real vacation. YIPPEE!! Anyone got any Nashville “must see” or “must do” suggestions?
While blogging has been hard i’m still posting on Instagram so you can always find me over there posting about daily activities and adventures.
So my friends until next time… keep enjoying the summer and the fun!
Have a great day.
