28 weeks! Hello 3rd Trimester!

Happy Friday!  Oh I am so happy that it’s Friday! I start looking forward to the weekends on Wednesday!  It’s hard to believe that the final trimester is here!  I’m hoping it goes quickly but I have a feeling January might drag a little bit… we will see!

How far along:  28 weeks

Due Date:  February 13, 2015

Total weight gain: 15 pounds

Maternity clothes: Most of the time!  Maternity leggings are my favorite!  Plus I am loving my new workout gear from For Two Fitness  Hint Hint:  Giveaway coming soon!!!

Sleep:  It’s actually been pretty good these last couple of weeks.  I’m still up a couple of times of night but this week I have been forgoing the 5am workouts to sleep in the extra hour.  I get in bed around 9pm too!  I’m exhausted!

Exercise: Prior to getting sick this week I was doing well with 70/30 for walking/running. I have also been mixing in weight training as well.  I’ve taken a few days off to let my body heal.   Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things this weekend.

Miss anything:  Still major issues with sitting and driving.  I started PT this week which is helping a bit.  Hoping some new stretches will provide me with some relief. I’ve also got a prenatal massage next weekend that I am very much looking forward to!

Movement: All the time…! Sometimes I wonder what that baby is doing in there!  I’d give anything for the baby to shift positions right now and get his/her head out of my rib cage!  That’s been pretty painful.

Food cravings:  I haven’t been too hungry this week but I’m still loving my celery and this week Sara and I have been going crazy on the clementines!  They are soooo good!  Last week I was having major ice cream cravings.  Not frozen yogurt…. the real full fat good stuff 🙂

Anything making you queasy or sick: Coffee… it’s been months since I have had some but I am struggling in the morning with the smell in my house.

Belly Button – in or out?  Depends on what time of day– I’d say it’s pretty much out right now.

Wedding Rings – on or off? On!

Happy or Moody? Happy…. for the most part.  I guess except the slightly emotional crying fest I had last night towards the end of the day which was likely brought on by being so tired and working a long day!  It happens…. right?!?!

Gender:  It’s going to be a big surprise but everyone tells me they think I am having a boy.  Of course everyone said the same thing when I was pregnant with Sara.

Anything Else:  While everyone around me is cold and freezing and I am hot!  Yesterday I walked outside a few times without a coat just to cool off.  People all around me are bundling up and I am driving around with my windows down!  Hello hormones!

Looking Forward To:  SO MUCH!!  Next week is Thanksgiving and we are all off starting Tuesday at the end of the day! Next Friday the Hubs and I leave for spa weekend getaway in Wisconsin!  So freaking excited for that!!  I can’t believe it’s almost December!  Lots of exciting things in the coming weeks.  Plus the hubs and I have date night this weekend!  Trying to fit in some extra date nights right now.

  6. You look so cute! So you do intervals of 70% walking, 30% running? What speed do you go at? I’m liking the intervals of run/walk, but I’m going much slower these days!

    And I can’t wait for the giveaway!!!! (I tried filling out a form on their website to do a review and haven’t heard back yet..bummer!)

      It takes A LONG time to hear back! I am sure you will!
      So when I walk- I do a speed a 4.0 and inclines between 4.5 and 7.0. I walk anywhere from 10-15 minutes and then jog between 5.0 and 5.8 for about 5-7 minutes. I spend anywhere from 30-40 minutes on the treadmill pending the morning.

    Looking good, Laura!! Hope you are feeling better! I was able to sustain my workouts throughout…I was actually at the Y doing a kettle bell workout the day Skylar was born! Lol. Running got hard because I just had to pee all the time so I switched to more swimming…which felt glorious! Enjoy that massage
